To showcase cutting-edge generative AI solutions leveraging Databricks&#8217; Mosaic AI technologies while fostering innovation and collaboration across industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite their strong technology stack and appeal, Databricks faced two critical tasks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensuring participants were verified developers or data professionals to maintain a high caliber of submissions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Effectively marketing the competition to reach their global target audience of AI engineers and data scientists.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hosting a Hackathon for Data Professionals<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Hackathons are typically open to anyone, but for the Generative AI World Cup, Databricks needed a more curated approach to ensure the competition achieved its goals.
